Evoking Daily Happiness

  • 1. Daily Exercise: My gym is my happy place. We all are aware of the physical health benefits of exercising but the mental health that exercise brings is just as important as the physical benefits. Exercise keeps me sane!!!
  • 2. Cooking: Eating well. Eating delicious food daily brings tons of joy. This stems from the lock down of the pandemic. Because we were forced to eat in, create our own food creations, I now find I am disappointed often when eating out. When I go out to eat, I find the food to be ok but I know I could do it better. I am strictly talking about average restaurants here, not high end ones.
  • 3. Dog Play: The daily dog greetings, whether coming in the front door or coming out of the bedroom, my dog is happy to see me. A good round of tug of war wipes away all types of negative vibes.
  • 4. Alone Time: Whether it is fifteen minutes or an hour, this time to focus on oneself. Think this gets overlooked quite a bit. We all need time to just do “you.”
  • 5. Family Time: From catching up to joking around, family time speaks for itself.
