Wake Up (thankful for this)
Prepare my morning coffee.
Meditate for 10 or 15 minutes, depending on what I have going on in the day.
Get a cup of coffee.
Sit outside on the porch for some vitamin D intake, watch the cars zip by (10 to 15 minutes).
Get cup two of coffee and begin getting ready.
Listen to various news podcasts to get up to date on worldly happenings.
Drive off to work listening to a different podcast (M-F) and or audiobook (weekends).
I wish that was my morning routine. I wish I had a job that allowed me to take the time to indulge in such things. My actual wake time would need to move from 5:50 to 4:30 am. I tried and did it for a while but could not maintain such a schedule. My true routine leaves little time for such luxuries.
True Routine
Wake up. Make coffee. Shower. Get coffee. Dress and drink coffee while listening to a news podcast. Get a second cup, put on shoes, leave half a cup behind. Run out the door to sit in 30 minutes’ worth of traffic.
